Spoon Carving Courses

Master wood turner and bowl maker Robin Wood will be running some fantastic spoon carving courses this year. Robin has been involved with Forest Schools for many years and often provides workshops in knife and axe craft at conferences and events throughout the UK.

Spoon carving for beginners.

A chance to learn axe and knife skills from an internationally respected green woodworker. During the course you will learn the safe and effective use of knives and axes. There will be the opportunity to experience the working properties of a range of native timbers. By the end of the course you should have made several spatulas or spoons to use in your own kitchen. You will also get a knife and some wood to take home and practice with afterwards.
