Do you want to transform teaching and learning in the natural environment?


This five day study visit to Denmark to explore pedagogy and practice in Danish preschools and nature kindergartens inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. The visit will include seminars, project presentations, visits to inspirational nature kindergartens and preschools, and focussed discussion groups. The course will be facilitated by Karin Eskesen, International Reggio Network colleague and former head of educational studies at Copenhagen University.

Do you want to develop a creative and reflective early years pedagogy?



In collaboration with the Reggio Emilia Institute in Sweden, Sightlines Initiative is organising a four day study visit to explore the history and development of pedagogical practice in the preschools of Sweden. The visit will include visits to preschools, seminars, project presentations and focussed group discussions. The final day will be a dialogue and exchange opportunity between UK and Swedish educators/artists.
Cost £800 (ReFocus members £750) / Maximum participants 40.
